Travel for work? Then this course is for you! Yes, you could just read the Foreign and Development Office recommendations but that’s not always enough.
The course focuses on independent short-term business trips, covering the essentials of safety for individual travellers.
The start to any international business travel is to understand the context and the potential risks. We will use a fictional context so that you can learn how to quickly and efficiently extract the information you will need to plan your trip safely.
The course is delivered by safety professionals with experience of travelling and working in complex environments who understands the conflict between being safe and taking risks to ensure you stay ahead of the curve. During this one -day course we will hopefully give you lots to think about, explore and question with hands on activities and interactive sessions. You will receive an attendance certificate and take-aways during the course to use when you are back in the office. We will follow up with you after the course with prompts to help support good learning.
- Certified First Aid (optional one day extra)*
See what a recent client thought of our training . . . . . .
‘We worked recently with Nisha who delivered a Personal Security Awareness training to a group of 20. Nisha and Risk Advisory Service (RAS) were able to address our needs for training. The session was fun and interactive, with lots of space for questions and up-to-date materials for us to get to grips with. I have worked with Nisha before and thought that her personal experience combined with training style, relaxed and yet informative, inspired us to confidence. The training was based on best practice, as well as practical experience and top tips. The follow up short messages are a great reminder and they link well to the course handbook and our day-to-day activities. I would be very happy to work with Nisha again.’
